Our commitments in brief
- Your results belong to you. No organisation, employer, school or programme can see your individual scores or your coaching analysis unless you have given your express permission.
- Sharing is your choice. If an organisation invites you, it pays for your assessment and you always receive your full report. Before the first question you choose whether to share your results with that organisation or keep them private. Nothing is shared unless you actively choose to share.
- Consent is specific. You consent to one named organisation, for one invitation. Assessments you take privately are never shown to any organisation.
- You can change your mind. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and that organisation will no longer see your individual results.
- We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
1. Who we are
EntrepreneurTraits is operated by EntrepreneurTraits LLC, 502 W 7th St, Ste 100, Erie, PA 16502, United States (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

3. Individual assessments
When you take an assessment on your own, your results are sent only to you, by email. Your report includes a private link to your results page. That link is long and random, so it cannot be guessed: only people you choose to share it with can open it.
Individual assessments are never shown to any organisation, even if that organisation later invites you using the same email address.
4. Assessments taken through an organisation
Business schools, accelerators, companies and other organisations can invite people to take the assessment. In that case, the following rules apply.
You choose before the assessment starts
- The organisation pays for your assessment, and you receive your full personal report by email whatever you choose.
- Before the first question, we tell you which organisation invited you and exactly what it would receive. You then choose one of two options. Neither is pre-selected, and the assessment cannot start until you choose.
- Share my results: this is your express consent for that organisation to receive a copy of your results for this invitation. We record the date and time of your consent and the wording you agreed to.
- Keep my results private: your results are sent only to you. The organisation only learns that you completed the assessment, and your scores are not included in its group statistics.
What the organisation can see, only if you choose to share
- Your name and email address.
- Your scores on the 8 trait dimensions for that invitation.
- The AI-generated coaching analysis written about those results.
The organisation sees only assessments taken through its own invitation and for which consent is recorded. It cannot see assessments you took privately or through any other organisation.
Group statistics
Organisations can also view group averages, calculated only from participants who chose to share. These are only shown once at least five such people have completed the assessment, so that no individual can be identified from them.
5. Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@entrepreneurtraits.com with the email address you were invited with and the name of the organisation. Once we have processed your request, that organisation will no longer be able to see your individual results or your coaching analysis.
Withdrawal applies from that point onwards. It cannot undo copies the organisation may already have downloaded before your request.
6. Who else handles your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, only to run the service:
- Anthropic: generates your coaching analysis from your name and your scores.
- Stripe: processes payments for individual assessments.
- NixiHost: hosts our website and database in the United States.
Within EntrepreneurTraits LLC, access to individual results is limited to what is needed to operate the service, provide support, and handle your requests. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your results so that you can compare them if you retake the assessment, until you ask us to delete them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- withdraw your consent at any time (see section 5);
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will respond within one month.
9. International transfers
Our systems are located in the United States. If you take the assessment from outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects what an organisation can see, we will ask for your consent again before sharing anything new.
